Examples of Military Robots
Daksh
In figure 1 below we see the Daksh and is the most current military robot used throughout the world. The robot's main task is to locate, handle, and destroy risky objects such as bombs. This robot has the ability to defuse bombs. This robot can climb stairs and move through any terrain. The Daksh has an x-ray machine that helps it locate and find bombs.
PackBot
In figure 2 below we see the PackBot military robot. The PackBot is probably the most used and most famous robot used throughout the war in Afghanistan. There are many versions of this robot and each robot has different features. This robot includes camera to aid in the detection of enemy troops. It also can move through any terrain. Some versions of this robot can analyze the air around to detect hazardous chemicals.
Goalkeeper
In figure 3 we can see the Goalkeeper military robot. This robot is used and mounted to ships. It detects enemy that are flying near the ship and has a system to automatically detects enemy and fire at them. It also has the ability to detect incoming missiles and destroy them.
MARCBot
In figure 4 below we see the MARCbot which is another military robot widely used. This robot has the ability to inspect and look for hazardous object. This robot has the ability to run for 6 hours with a full battery. The MARCbot has a camera that gives it a larger scope of vision.
